What sets LIPOLYZE apart from the thousands of other fat burners?

LIPOLYZE can be best categorized as a caloric wasting supplement.  Whereas most fat-burning formulations on today’s market depend on stimulants such as ephedra (rarely seen today), caffeine, and synephrine at SPECIES, we reject the premise that the only effective way to burn fat is to “stimulate” the body into action.  While stimulants do increase metabolic rate, they also increase the production of catabolic (muscle-wasting) hormones such as cortisol.  As cortisol levels rise in the body, lean muscle tissue is broken down, immune system function is suppressed, and dangerous abdominal belly fat deposition is increased.

Do I have to take LIPOLYZE and SOMALYZE together?  Couldn’t I just add one LIPOLYZE before bed?

How will a fiber product benefit a bodybuilder?

FIBERLYZE is a unique combination fiber supplement that contains both soluble and insoluble fiber. 

It’s been shown that the inclusion of soluble fiber from psyllium can dramatically reduce the risk of heart disease by suppressing cholesterol synthesis in the liver and reducing blood levels of LDL cholesterol and triglycerides.  And less LDL cholesterol means less atherogenic plaques in the blood vessels.

Whenever I start taking fiber, I get cramps and I bloat really bad. What's up?

Remember, the intestinal tract is lined with smooth muscle. When this muscle gets lazy and is not challenged with high fiber foods, it gets weak and can no longer efficiently expel wastes. This leads to toxic buildup of fecal wastes on the colonic walls. It also blocks the reabsorption of essential vitamins and nutrients.

Every protein powder I try gives me severe digestive discomfort?  Is there any reason why ISOLYZE would be tolerated by my body?

Is there any sugar in CARBOLYZE?

CARBOLYZE has only ½ gram of sugar per 39 grams serving size.  That’s less than 1% per serving.  This tiny amount of sugar comes from the addition of a unique 5-pentose carbohydrate molecule known as D-ribose.  D-ribose-- a precursor to all DNA and RNA molecules—has been, experimentally, shown to quickly restore cellular ATP to normal functioning levels following intense exercise.  This ATP-restorative effect is achieved at very low concentrations and that’s why it’s included in this formula.
However,  the majority of CARBOLYZE is comprised of Waxy maize starch, a long-chain, high molecular weight, carbohydrate that’s 100 times larger than maltodextrin and 3000 times greater than dextrose.  Waxy maize is sugar-free, yet moves through the stomach 80% faster than either dextrose or maltodextrin and helps facilitate rapid glycogen resynthesis and nutrient uptake into the muscles without the bloating and cramping!

I’ve noticed the sudden craze in waxy maize starch use as is found in your CARBOLYZE product. What happened to good old dextrose as a post-workout carbohydrate?

Dextrose can be considered a simple sugar and waxy maize (amylase) starch is a high molecular weight carbohydrate. Waxy maize is 100x bigger than maltodextrin, 300x bigger than dextrose, and it moves through the stomach 80% faster than either dextrose or maltodextrin.  Because of the speed with which it’s absorbed, waxy maize spikes insulin to the same degree as glucose. Aside from the obvious advantage of less stomach bloating, you may be wondering what the real advantage of this designer carbohydrate is.
Here's a simple analogy: Imagine you're swimming in the ocean and a cruise ship passes by.  The sheer weight of the ship displacing all that water will cause a vacuum that’ll, very effectively, suck you into the wake of the boat. Now imagine that you're swimming in the water and a jet ski passes by. In comparison to the cruise ship, the jet ski barely weighs more than you do and, consequently, won't affect your position in the water.  Similar to the cruise ship, waxy maize starch (because of its sheer size) pulls water--as well as any other nutrient (amino acids, creatine, or glutamine) that’s present-- into the blood stream and, ultimately, into the muscle cells where they can be used for muscle growth and repair.
