I have been using Species Nutrition products for two years now, (Carbolyze, Nitrolyze, and Isolyze and can tell you that these awesome products finally allow me to make the necessary gains I need to make to be a top contender to get my pro-card.

While working long work weeks as a director of fitness. I was unable to eat 6-7 meals a day, I used the Carblyze, and Isolyze whey protein as a meal replacement.  I dropped two percent body fat and put on 6lbs of lean muscle mass in just 4 weeks!!!

This was a shock to me since all the other carbohydrate supplements like Waxamazie and Vitargo made me hold tons of water and body fat.  With Carbolyze I never experience this, its been all lean muscle mass while dropping body fat. I would be honored to stand behind a brand that has already helped me so much, and I'm passionate to reach out to as many people as possible to tell them the benefits of these products when stacked correctly.

I am a dedicated/passionate fitness professional(fitness director), free-lance personal training/nutritional coach, and aspiring professional bodybuilder with over 10 years of experience in the industry. I currently live, and work, in New York City.

I grew up in the town of Hampton Bays, in Eastern Long Island, where my passion for athletics and competitive spirit began to manifest at an early age.  By the age of eighteen (18) I had become nationally ranked, all-state(I had lost a close match to a 3-time state champ in the semi finals of the state’s my senior year) and four time (4x) all-county champion wrestler, and began working as a coach at several reputable Long Island wrestling clinics.

After High School, I committed to Hofstra University and wrestled my freshman year at a division one (1) level, I came to the conclusion that I wanted to focus more on my education and less on wrestling.  I then chose to transfer to SUNY Cortland State University, where I would attain my degree in Exercise Science/Dietetics.

While studying for my degree in Dietetics/Exercise Science, I decided that I was going to work part-time and attained a personal training and nutritionist certification and began training a wide range of clients in small local gym located in Cortland NY in 2007.  By the time of my graduated in 2010, I had already been working as a full time exercise speicalist and nutritionist for 3 years, and trained some of the top athletes in the country.

After completing college, I moved back to Long Island and began working as a salaried speed strength and conditioning/sports nutrition coach at the Parisi Speed School. A year later was when I was introduced into corporate fitness, first just being a general manager of just one health club(EFT personal training, retro, and TSI) and then  moved to the city and  worked  for Town Sports International.

While working for Town Sports International and NYHRC I was promoted on five separate occasions for breaking records in both sales and revenue.  I had then switch into more of a district manager role, in managing multiple metrics at different locations throughout NYC for TSI for the last 6 months I was with the company.

Six months after the switch I had began to become unhappy with my new job position. The long draining work hours, quotas, and the worst was I felt I was no longer able to directly improve peoples lives threw proper nutrition and exercise, and was more of just a corporate desk job behind a computer all day. I was promoting a business model that I didn’t believe in that only looked appealing to an investor on a P and L report, instead of catering to the member with a more professional service. I then been offered a 6 figure deal with NYHRC to supervise their fitness department, which is a company that’s priority was geared more towards improving the members experience by providing a higher level service. The hours are not nearly as demanding as managing the 12 plus clubs that I over seen at TSI. This also allowed me to keep my private in house nutrition company (Bestbuiltfitness) that I work out of a small doctors office  47th st, with Dr. Chi Shum for blood specific nutritional/resistance training programs in New York City.

By the three-month mark Best Built Fitness had grown up to 24 active clients that are all assessed by an exercise/nutrition specialist at least once a week.

Contest History:

-My first fitness competition took place in 2009 at the Natural Olympus, in Buffalo NY, were I placed first at only 150lbs.

-My first NPC show was in December of 2010 at the NPC Excalibur Competition, located in Los Angeles, California.  I placed second (2nd) in the men’s welterweight open class.

- 2012 NPC Metropolitan Bodybuilding Competition and won first (1st) place in the middleweightnv division

-Recently I had just competed in the J.R-Nationals were I placed 2nd in the middle weight class(qualified at the NPC Lehigh)

-Other recent achievements: Was recognized as one of the most conditioned athletes in the junior national championships in the pre-judging report. I completed a photo shoot for flex magazine at Bev Francis Power House gym in Syosett, NY, this past July.

Everyday my passion continues to grow, both through my business and my reputation. I eat, breath, and live for the fitness industry, which makes it easier for me to instill a positive message to my clients and those around me.
