Living the professional skier’s dream, Jonathan lives in an “endless winter” spending summers in the Southern Hemisphere and winters in the Northern Hemisphere.
Jonathan spent three years in Steamboat before moving to Aspen and has been working in various roles for the Ski & Snowboard Schools of Aspen/Snowmass since 1999. In 33 seasons over 23 years, Jonathan has taught in Mt. Brighton, Steamboat, Arapahoe Basin, Aspen, Cardrona, Coronet Peak, Porter Heights, Treble Cone, Mt. Ruapehu, and guided clients on multiple trips around Europe. Currently, Jonathan spends his northern hemisphere winters as the Training Manager for the Ski & Snowboard Schools of Aspen/Snowmass and as an Examiner and Alpine Committee Chair for PSIA-Rocky Mountain Division. In the other winter (deep south), Jonathan works as a trainer for the Rookie Academy and an examiner and education coordinator for the New Zealand Snowsports Instructors Alliance.
