Introducing SPECIES University

A Mission to Educate
SPECIES Nutrition, producer of high quality sports nutritional supplements, announces the creation of SPECIES University, or, "SPECIES U".
This initiative is designed to educate college-aged individuals and young professionals on ways to live healthier through improved diet, workout regimens, and smarter forms of supplementation.
"The reality is that kids - today - don't know what to put in their bodies, they'll eat anything, and they're taking workout advice from sources (including the internet) that aren't always accurate", says SPECIES Nutrition Founder and President Dave Palumbo. "Through SPECIES U, we will teach younger audiences the right way to eat (even on a tight budget), supplement and train to achieve their fitness and lifestyle goals".
SPECIES U, which can be followed on Instagram (@species_u) and SpeciesNutrition.com, will feature the journey of Binghamton University Senior Matthew Halperin, a member of the SAE fraternity, who will be undergoing a 16-week training period in preparation for Binghamton University's annual "Greek God" competition, which will feature a physique "pose down" as part of the event. The event will raise funds for the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation and Sharsheret (Jewish non-profit foundation supporting Breast Cancer Survivors).

"I'm very excited to be working with SPECIES Nutrition and Dave Palumbo. In just one 45-minute meeting with Dave, he undid everything I thought I knew about nutrition and working out. Under Dave's guidance and using the SPECIES line of supplements, I've already gained 5 pounds of lean muscle in just a short period of time. The lessons I'm taking from this prep are lessons I'll be able to apply to my Senior year of college and when I enter the workforce", said Matt.
In addition to being an educational resource, SPECIES U will feature an interactive platform which will allow users to find the right supplement choices - for their particular fitness goals - and resources to have their diet and workout questions answered.
"College kids are leading trends in the online and social media space, so, it only makes sense to give them a truly interactive experience when it comes to getting their questions on diet, exercise, and supplements answered in an environment that's familiar to them", says SPECIES Nutrition CEO Adriane Schwartz. "Species Nutrition is thrilled to support Matt in his journey!"
