Shipping Terms & Conditions

The following shipping terms apply to all orders placed through speciesnutrition.com. Please review these terms before completing your purchase to understand processing timelines, delivery expectations, and your responsibilities as the recipient.

1.

Order Processing

All orders — including overnight orders — are typically processed and shipped within 48 hours from the time the order is placed. Orders ship Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays.

Orders placed after 3:00 PM EST on Friday will ship the following Monday. Orders placed on weekends or holidays will begin processing the next business day.

To prevent processing delays, please ensure your billing address matches the address on file with your credit card issuer. Mismatches may trigger a fraud hold and delay your order.

Domestic Shipping

We ship to all 50 US states via standard carrier services including UPS, FedEx, and USPS. Available shipping methods and estimated delivery windows are displayed at checkout based on your delivery address.

  • Standard shipping: typically 3–7 business days after processing
  • Expedited shipping: typically 2–3 business days after processing
  • Overnight / express shipping: next business day after processing, subject to carrier cutoff times

Delivery estimates are provided by carriers and are not guaranteed. Species Nutrition is not responsible for carrier delays once an order has been handed off for shipment. A tracking number will be emailed to you when your order ships.

International Shipping

Species Nutrition ships to select international destinations. International availability and rates are displayed at checkout. By placing an international order, you acknowledge the following:

  • You are acting as the importer of record for your shipment and are responsible for compliance with all laws and regulations of your destination country
  • It is your responsibility to verify that the products you are ordering are legally importable into your country before placing an order
  • Delivery times for international orders may be significantly longer than domestic orders and are subject to customs processing

Customs, Duties & Import Taxes

International shipments may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, and fees assessed by the destination country's customs authority upon arrival. These charges are entirely the responsibility of the recipient.

Species Nutrition has no control over customs fees and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely by country — contact your local customs office for more information before ordering.

We do not refund original shipping charges or reimburse customs fees if a package is refused or returned due to failure to pay import duties or for any other customs-related reason. If a refused international package is returned to us, a restocking fee may apply.

5.

Delays & Carrier Issues

Delivery estimates are not guarantees. Species Nutrition is not liable for delays caused by:

  • Carrier capacity issues, strikes, or service disruptions
  • Severe weather or natural disasters
  • Customs clearance delays (international orders)
  • Incorrect or incomplete shipping addresses provided at checkout
  • Failed delivery attempts due to recipient unavailability

If your tracking shows no movement for more than 5 business days (domestic) or 15 business days (international), please contact us at support@speciesnutrition.com and we will open a trace with the carrier on your behalf.

6.

Lost, Stolen & Undeliverable Packages

Lost packages: If your tracking confirms a package is lost in transit, contact us within 30 days of the ship date and we will work with the carrier to file a claim and arrange a replacement or refund.

Stolen packages: If your tracking shows "delivered" but you did not receive the package, please first check with neighbors and your building manager. If the package cannot be located, file a report with your local police department and contact us — we will assist where possible but cannot guarantee replacement for confirmed-delivered packages.

Undeliverable packages: If a package is returned to us as undeliverable due to an incorrect address or failed delivery attempts, we will contact you to arrange re-shipment. Additional shipping charges may apply for re-delivery.

Risk of loss passes to you upon our delivery of the package to the carrier. Species Nutrition is not liable for packages after carrier acceptance.
