Refunds & Returns Policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with your Species Nutrition order. If something isn't right, our returns process is straightforward. Please read the eligibility requirements below before initiating a return.

Return Eligibility Overview

Returns are accepted under the following conditions:

  • The return request is initiated within 30 days of the original purchase date
  • You have your original order number available
  • The item meets the product-specific eligibility requirements outlined below
  • The product was purchased directly through speciesnutrition.com

Returns received after 30 days from the purchase date will not be accepted. Products purchased through third-party retailers (Amazon, GNC, local stores) must be returned directly to that retailer in accordance with their return policy — we are unable to process those returns.

Dietary Supplements & Consumables

Returns on dietary supplements and other consumable products are accepted only when all of the following conditions are met:

  • The product was purchased through speciesnutrition.com
  • The product is unopened and sealed in its original packaging
  • The return is initiated within 30 days of purchase

Opened or partially used supplements cannot be returned regardless of the reason. If you received a product that was damaged in transit, incorrect, or defective, please contact us immediately at support@speciesnutrition.com with your order number and photos of the item and we will make it right.

Apparel & Accessories

Returns on apparel and accessories are accepted when all of the following apply:

  • The item is unworn and unwashed
  • All original tags and labels are still attached
  • The item is in good condition with no signs of wear, staining, or alteration
  • The item is returned in its original packaging
  • The return is initiated within 30 days of purchase

Items that have been worn, washed, altered, or returned without original tags will not be accepted and will be returned to the sender.

How to Initiate a Return

To start a return, follow these steps:

  1. Contact our customer service team during business hours (Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–5:00 PM ET) via email at support@speciesnutrition.com or by phone at 239-984-5753.
  2. Provide your original order number and the item(s) you wish to return.
  3. Our team will review your request and, if approved, issue a Return Authorization Number (RAN) along with return instructions.
  4. Ship the item(s) back following the provided instructions. Do not send items without a Return Authorization Number — unauthorized returns will not be processed and may not be returned to you.

We recommend using a tracked shipping method for your return. Species Nutrition is not responsible for items lost or damaged in return transit.

Refund Timeline & Method

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method
  • Credit card refunds may take up to two billing cycles to appear on your statement, depending on your card issuer
  • PayPal and other digital payment refunds are typically processed faster — within 3–5 business days

Shipping charges are non-refundable. If a return is due to our error (wrong item shipped, defective product), we will cover return shipping costs and issue a full refund including original shipping.

Non-Returnable Items & Exceptions

The following are not eligible for return or refund:

  • Opened or used dietary supplements or consumables
  • Items returned without a Return Authorization Number
  • Items returned after 30 days from purchase
  • Items purchased through third-party retailers
  • Items that are damaged due to misuse or improper storage
  • Gift cards and downloadable products

If you received a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, please reach out to us within 7 days of delivery at support@speciesnutrition.com with your order number and photos. We will resolve the issue with a replacement or full refund at no cost to you.
